On April 12, 2025, on Lazarus Saturday, Bishop Artemy of Taganrog, Vicar of the Rostov Diocese, led the Divine Liturgy in the Starocherkassk Army Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection. His Grace was assisted by the dean of the Aksai district, Hieromonk Vikenty (Svistunov), the rector of the church, Archpriest Valery Voloshchuk, the rector of the Patriarchal Ascension Military All-Cossack Cathedral, Archpriest Georgy Smorkalov, the abbot of the Donskoy Starocherkassk Efremovsky Monastery, Hegumen Sergiy (Kolomits), and clergy of the diocese.
