On September 22, the Sunday before the Exaltation of the Cross, the choir “Revival” of the farm Staropoltavskiy of the Konstantinovsky district of Rostov region sang at the Divine Liturgy. The arches of the temple were filled with beautiful prayer singing. On the sacrament verse and at the end of the service, the ensemble performed several hymns dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose birth the Church celebrated the day before.

Parish senior priest Valery Voloshchuk thanked the singers for visiting Don Shrine and soulful singing, and noted that the similarity in naming our Resurrection Cathedral and the names of the ensemble “Revival” creates a certain special relationship and the significance of this Liturgy on the eve of the feast day and of the Exaltation of the Cross.
