In May 2023, the village of Starocherkasskaya and our cathedral were visited by the People’s Artist of Russia Alexander Rosenbaum as part of a tour of the Don land.

The concert program was dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Matvey Platov and the Year of Ataman Platov announced in the Rostov region in his honor.
