On March 23, the Army Cathedral of Christ\u2019s Resurrection was visited by a restorer from St. Petersburg, Ivan Yuryevich Prokhin, to give his recommendations and build a plan of restoration. Ivan Yurievich examined the painting of the altar, made several soil fixes of problem areas and a number of washouts to see the layering of the painting, and also took samples of wall paintings for study in the laboratory.
