On January 12, in the Second Donskoy of Emperor Nicholas II, the Cadet Corps of the Don State Technical University, a solemn ceremony was held in honor of the celebration of the 29th anniversary of the re-establishment of the cadet corps and the awarding of the “cadet” insignia to pupils who showed high results in teaching, behavior and physical development.

The celebration was attended by priest John Tsupko, a cleric of our cathedral. Father John congratulated the students, teachers, and mentors of the cadet school on this significant date and blessed them for the successful completion of the academic year. At the end of the ceremony, the priest sprinkled Holy water on all participants of the ceremonial formation.
