On April 24, 2021, Lazarev Saturday, the vicar of the Rostov Diocese, Bishop Artemiy of Taganrog, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Starocherkassk Army Cathedral of Christ’s Resurrection.

His Grace was co-served by archpriest Valery Voloshchuk, senior priest of the Cathedral, priest Igor Milyaev, senior priest of the Starocherkassk Transfiguration Ratnensky Church, and priest John Tsupko.

The chants of the service were sung by the choir of the cathedral under the direction of Ashot Palanjyan.

At the end of the service, His Grace addressed the worshippers with an archpastoral address, in which he revealed the story of the resurrection of Lazarus by our Lord Jesus Christ, and also called the worshippers to special prayers during Passion Week.
